he comes up to me today and goes, “Are the Maple Laughs playing tonight?” with the most serious tone I have ever heard my dad use. you lost my dad’s hope, leafs. the last time you won, he was 5 and he can’t even remember it happening.
he’s been waiting 41 years, I’ve only been waiting 18. he’s starting to go a little insane.
